In the game, you take command of your own SPACESHIP. You must pilot your ship over the surface of different PLANETS in search for valuable Cryonite Crystals. To obtain these minerals, you must destroy enemy Mantis ships and seize the cargo they are carrying. Other human players will be there, competing or collaborating with you in the hunt for minerals.
The game world includes many DIFFERENT PLANETS, each with different graphical environments and different types of enemies, treasures and secrets to discover. With each new planet you explore, the difficulty increases. Planets that are more dangerous typically also yield larger rewards. Stargates allow you to travel through hyperspace to other star systems.
In the various SPACE STATION in orbit around the different planets, you can UPGRADE, REPAIR, or CUSTOMIZE your ship.
TEAM PLAY is encouraged by providing different types of ships with individual strengths and weaknesses, supplementing one another. You can join forces with other players, form a SQUADRON, and specialize on a certain ROLE inside that squadron by configuring your ship accordingly.
